Dr Marina Cavuoto,

Clinical Neuropsychologist

Dr Marina Cavuoto is both a Clinical Neuropsychologist and researcher. Marina obtained her Master of Clinical Neuropsychology in 2014 and PhD in 2017 at La Trobe University. She is a Fellow of the APS College of Clinical Neuropsychologists.

Marina has worked across aged care and rehabilitation in the public health setting, and has experience working with adults and older adults with a variety of neurological, psychiatric and other health conditions. Marina is experienced in conducting neuropsychological assessment to aid with dementia diagnosis; assessments of older adults with concerns about their memory and thinking; and assessment of decision-making capacity.

Marina’s research interests are on understanding risk factors for cognitive decline and dementia, with a focus on sleep disturbances, gene-sleep interactions, and social determinants of health.
