Clinical Neuropsychologist

Laura is a Clinical Neuropsychologist with 10+ years of experience working in public and private health care, as well as forensic settings. She is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and has endorsement in the area of Clinical Neuropsychology. Laura completed her Doctor of Psychology (Clinical Neuropsychology) at Monash University in 2011, and Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Honours) at La Trobe University in 2001.

Laura has extensive experience conducting neuropsychological assessments with children and adults to investigate potential cognitive and behavioural challenges that may arise over the lifespan. She has worked in the paediatric field, primarily with children and young adults experiencing challenges related to learning difficulties and specific neurodevelopmental disorders. She has also worked with adults for many years in the areas of brain injury rehabilitation, neurodegenerative and medical disorders, substance abuse, and psychological disorders. Laura also has experience working with individuals who have a forensic history, as well as those who are incarcerated.

Laura prides herself on providing a safe and welcoming environment for all individuals. She enjoys collaborating with clients, caregivers and other professionals to ensure all assessments and recommendations are individualised and address the referral question. Laura is warm and approachable and strives to provide meaningful recommendations that support each individual to reach their goals.
